Chaquetita bicolor para bebé / Two-color baby cardigan

¡Hola a todos!

Espero que hayáis pasado unas muy felices fiestas! Para despedir este año 2014 os traigo una chaquetita de media que he hecho.



En realidad, utilicé el patrón 90060AD de Lion Brand y lo modifiqué un poco. El patrón original lleva un calado que yo he omitido y toda la chaqueta estaba hecha con lana del mismo color. Yo opté por hacer el cuello y el borde delantero en un color distinto, para darle más contraste y para modernizar un poco el diseño original. ¿Os gusta?


También cambié el cierre, ya que el original sugiere utilizar botones y ojales convencionales y yo he utilizado automáticos.

La forma de tejerla es sencilla y no se tarda mucho. Además, si tenéis que hacer una talla pequeña, se hace en un visto y no visto :) He utilizado la lana Cashmere Blend de Katia, una lana muy suave que mezcla cachemir con merino, perfecto para bebés!




La chaqueta está tejida en punto de jersey y con agujas del número 4 y para finalizar, le he puesto mis tijeras en el extremo inferior izquierdo.

Hi all!

I hope you all had a wonderful time during this Holiday season. I did, and I am getting ready for the new year. Best times are always ahead! To say goodbye to 2014, I am bringing you a baby cardigan I knitted a couple of weeks ago.



I inspired myself on Lion Brand free pattern 90060AD (google it) and I modified a couple of things to make the cardigan look a bit different and modern. The original pattern calls for eyelet and to use the same color for the whole work. I ommited the eyelet thing and I went for two contrasting colors. How do you feel?

I also ommited the buttons part from the original and I went for this discreet option. I just love it.

This project is quite easy to knit and should you need to go for a baby size, it will be finished in no time. Regarding the materials, I used Cashmere Blend by Katia, perfect for babies since it is a blend of cashmere and merino wool. Really soft :)




I used 4 mm needles and to add a touch of uniqueness, I added my scissors to the bottom left of the cardigan. I love the end result.
